What ARE Santa’s reindeer doing before Christmas, you might be wondering? You know they will be mighty busy soon, but here are some photos that might clue you in…
This one seems to be busy planning where he might like to travel to after the holidays
These guys are just “hanging out”…guess reindeer like to do that too …
Reindeer in the wild…part of Rudolph’s family, perhaps?? : ) …….
Here are some very sleepy reindeer…
Reindeer (domesticated caribou) have funny feet, btw…
Here you can see some reindeer and racers dash down Anchorage’s Fourth Avenue in the 2011 Rondy Running of the Reindeer…
An “unlikely” Rudolph relative… : P
♥ It’s love ♥
That red-nosed reindeer IS real…
And to all lovers of Christmas, young and young at heart…Merry Christmas! May the magic of the season capture your spirit.
much like roses
At our door
Welcome back all you fine elf loving folks! : )
And, since you must have a liking for elves (or at least a curiosity about them) because you wouldn’t be looking at this page unless this was at least partially true…I hope you are not disappointed in these new photos of Santas elves.
Woof, woof…..here’s the Elf Dog…Santa’s good helper that fetches things for the other elves. He’s a great help!
Oh, and look at Santa’s littlest helper (she’s in training)…but, you know she is already enjoying being around all those toys! : )
Two of Santa’s best elves at a Christmas parade. What a great chance for them to see all those they are making toys and other gifts for ~ we’re always being watched by Santa in one way or another. Have you been good?
YUM…and just check out what some of Santa’s elves have been doing in the workshop kitchen!
Hope you enjoyed seeing some REAL elves…their world is a magical one full of candy canes and reindeer. And, they love to make gifts for all the good boys and girls, young and old alike!
*****Next on the agenda will be to share some pictures of Santa’s reindeer…so, be sure to check them out when the next article is posted*****
Until then……………………. BE GOOD : )
Kids, young and old…seen any good elf photos lately? Chances are you haven’t, so I want to share these with you…
It’s a magical world, the elf world is. So much wonder and amazement that we don’t see – since we don’t live in this world. This is an elf princess in a bubble, she is not working today to make toys, it’s all fun for her! And, what fun she looks like she’s having…a part of being an elf that we don’t normally see. They don’t work ALL the time.
Here is Brian the elf…he’s one of the head elves in Santa’s workshop. Quite a responsibility he has!
This is one of Santa’s helper elves…she works in the baby toy section and also makes musical instruments. She looks very happy, doesn’t she?
And, last but not least, here is the mailroom in Santa’s workshop. This is a very busy time of the year here, letters are still coming in. Is your letter here?
Hoping all you kids, young and old, have a very Merry Christmas!
I’ve lived close to the Ozarks nearly my whole life and have heard tales of people seeing catfish as big as men while diving near Bagnell Dam, at the Lake of the Ozarks. I believe that this is entirely possible, in spite of others refuting the fact. Bagnell Dam was started in 1929 and completed in 1931 – the largest artificial lake in the world at that time. Fed by the muddy Osage River, this manmade Missouri lake is just over 80 years old – a lot of time for catfish to contentedly live and multiply.
Here is some interesting info I found from another source:
“In more recent times, I have heard and read about divers and underwater welders who have quit their jobs to pursue different kinds of work. Allegedly, this has happened near Bagnell Dam at the Lake of the Ozarks . The divers claimed to have seen catfish the size of -as some stories have it- Volkswagons. Sometimes the fish have been described as being even larger than Volkswagons. Like most fish stories, this one might seem pretty hard to believe. At first anyway. Like I’ve written before, nature can be very mysterious to us; we look out at a body of water and can only imagine what’s underneath. Is it possible that catfish can grow so large that they could or would attempt to eat a human? “There’s Some Big Fish in the Lake Ozarks” by Wes Goff
Is this true – could there be a large bunch of them lurking in the depths of this old Missouri lake? I think it would really be interesting for a professional dive expedition with cages and other equipment to check this out.
Memories of Christmas together
Cold wintry night
Deserted romantic restaurant
Bottle of the best wine
Prime rib charred just right
So much love
Soft Christmas music
Gazing into each other’s eyes
Dressed in our best
Fragrances of cologne
And gourmet cuisine
Waiter’s full attention
Not wanting the night to ever end
Two years ago
But to be remembered forever
I want love for Christmas,
I feel it in my heart.
I’ve thought a lot about it,
I’ve known it from the start.
The warm, happy feeling,
That only love can bring;
No wrapped package under the tree
Can compare –
Love makes my heart sing.
The feel of Christmas
Expectations and hopes for joy,
Are dreams for every girl, boy
And grownups too.
But, the truth be known
The path that’s sown;
So it seems
Are sordid truths –
With no way to soothe.
Let us all join together
To meet the season right.
All mankind lives
Under the Holy Christ light.
The trumpets of angels
Sound loud in his name.
Will have His love
All the same.
It’s turkey meal with all the trimmings
Not the time to think of slimmin’…
Diets to decrease the waist
Are fast forgotten , we’ll just baste
That turkey good;
And know we should
Give up the fight
Then we can avow
To diet NOW !
